Osprey Organic Farm is a small family-run farm operated by Tamara Bonnemaison, Joel Skrepnek, and their two young children. Tamara and Joel started farming a one acre plot in the Okanagan in 2008, and moved their farm to the Yarrow Ecovillage, in the Fraser Valley, in 2011.

Tamara and Joel grow on just two acres, but are able to produce an incredible array of food, ranging from arugula to zucchini and everything in between. Some of the main crops grown on the farm are sweet baby bunch carrots, tender beets, pre-washed salad mix, and fresh onions.

The Yarrow Ecovillage is located near Chilliwack, BC, and includes a co-housing development, commercial spaces, and of course, an organic community farm. After searching far and wide for a permanent home for their farm, Tamara and Joel found the perfect mix of great farmland, good community, and affordability at the Yarrow Ecovillage.

The farm is certified organic, and is run using a minimum of machinery. Since the farm is organic, methods that are often more labour-intensive, but better for the environment, are used. This includes weeding crops by hand, maintaining soil fertility through the use of cover crops and green manures, and managing pests by hand-picking them off the plants.
